Who we’re looking for 
Minted is seeking a creative, analytical Social Media Director to own the company’s social media strategy, drive engagement with Minted’s growing brand, and drive impact on Minted’s business. The ideal candidate is creative, curious, and passionate about design and taste making. They are business-savvy futurists -- as fluent in brand strategy as they are in contextual commerce. They're inspired by the potential of bringing unique design from independent artists to people everywhere, and ready to step into a role that brings this to life.  They are personally interested in and deeply engaged with creative communities and understand the life and dreams of independent creators.
They’ll lead the effort to continue scaling  Minted’s social following and engagement to build brand awareness and connect with new customers. They’ll lead the brand across social channels, with a focus on Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok, and Facebook.
Who you’ll work with
This position reports to the Senior Director, Brand Strategy and works cross-functionally with many teams across the organization, including Marketing, Communications, Creative & Production.

What you’ll work on

  • Own social media strategy and execution for the company.
  • Act as the social media expert within the company, maintaining a cutting edge understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics across channels.
  • Develop social media audience segmentation strategy: Understand the Minted primary consumer audiences and which channels to best engage with them.
  • Collaborate with Brand Strategy Team to create social media content strategy and develop creative briefs for channel-specific execution.
  • Own the Minted social media calendar across channels based both on cultural trends and the company’s product marketing priorities.
  • Partner with performance marketing team to oversee content for paid social/display campaigns; develop social/display media strategy for brand awareness.
  • Develop rigorous approach for experimenting, testing and measuring social media features
  • Identify and specify product features/app development required to support social marketing
  • Design and execute social media reporting on key metrics, such as engagement, traffic, new customers, and revenue; share weekly performance reporting with key stakeholders
  • Partner with Customer Service to ensure the customer brand experience is seamless and premium across our channels.
  • Collaborate with Brand Strategy Directors and Brand Communications Team teams to share learnings and scale the impact of social-related marketing initiatives.
  • Act as brand steward and keeper of brand voice in all social media channels.

What you bring to Minted

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3+ years working directly on social media and digital strategy
  • Demonstrated experience in building large communities on social media.
  • Passion for design and a desire to build a career in a creative company and industry
  • Extensive experience developing and executing high impact social media content to build brand awareness and equity
  • Demonstrated experience in creating contextual commerce and brand experiences in social media
  • Proven expertise in leading platforms (TikTok, Instagram) and social media tools, including analytical tools.
  • Existing relationships with established and emerging platforms. Well-developed network in the industry and a strong understanding of which tactics drive engagement on social media.
  • Experience with relevant tools, such as Opal and Dash Hudson
  • You’re a passionate consumer-centric thinker and customer advocate. You understand social media consumer behavior deeply and intuitively, put the customer first, and influence others to think similarly
  • You’re comfortable in work environments that are outcome-oriented and merit-based
  • You’re open to change. You’re flexible, adaptable, innovative, and agile in response to competitive pressure and market change
  • You’re a strong cross-functional and team leader that is highly collaborative and fun to work with and for
