Position Summary:Reporting to the Market Intelligence Manager, the successful candidate will have strong research skills, analytical aptitude, tenacity, ability to learn quickly on the job, work autonomously, and a willingness to jump into PointClickCare’s fast-paced work environment. The role will be responsible for market and competitive analysis on the Acute and Post-Acute markets

What you'll be doing day to day:

  • Maintain a library of competitive analysis for use throughout the company, including feature comparisons, market positioning, vendor differentiators, and pricing models
  • Provide aggregate summaries on win/loss analysis materials
  • Collect data from all customer-facing teams and selected partners on key competitors
  • Collaborate with marketing to assure effective market positioning
  • Work with industry associations to support marketing and sales initiatives
  • Analyses, researches and monitors the markets where PointClickCare operates, the competitive landscape and business environment
  • Fully leverage all market, competitor, and product information to produce objective insights of market drivers, the competitive environment, and promotional and treatment trends with key customer segment types.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-oriented discipline preferred
  • Relevant job experience in the SaaS technology industry
  • Proven experience in primary market research and/or competitive intelligence are strong assets
  • Ability to extract, consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources and develop cohesive story for cross functional stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of CI and secondary data sources and syndicated analytics
  • Both analytical aptitude as well as the ability to synthesize and summarize data
  • Strong investigative and research skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strategic mindset
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
