The marketing team interfaces with nearly all aspects and layers of the business. Our team oversees product marketing, performance marketing, PR/communications, lifecycle marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, and the channels associated with those efforts.
We are seeking a performance-driven SEO Manager to go grow our organic channel. Organic growth is a core marketing initiative therefore the potential impact of your work will be huge in introducing multiple Truepill brands to people seeking access to healthcare solutions.
As the SEO Manager, you will lead the growth of our organic channel by identifying and implementing best-in-class SEO and content development strategies that will drive high organic rankings and increase traffic to our websites. This is a high-profile role and an opportunity to collaborate across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Utilize competitive and content gap analysis to identify effective strategies and opportunities for new growth and build a targeted SEO roadmap that aims to improve our organic visibility and channel acquisitions
  • Work and collaborate closely with cross-channel partners (content, marketing, product, creative, analytics, and more) to execute against the roadmap; you will own SEO from end to end
  • Perform ongoing keyword research to discover opportunities and new trends within the rapidly-evolving health vertical, especially in emerging spaces like Telehealth
  • You will act as an SEO evangelist by effectively communicating the reasoning behind our approach and helping educate partners across the organization around SEO best practices
  • Become familiar with our growing library of content
  • Perform category audits to advise on when to create new content vs updating/consolidating older content with established rank
  • Perform technical site audits to identify roadblocks and opportunities and provide technical recommendations to both internal and external teams
  • Execute on-going on-page SEO audits and identify areas for improvement and work with internal and external development teams to implement identified changes
  • Monitor traffic, understand the impact of optimizations as well as external changes (algorithm updates, SERP changes, etc)
  • Help manage and maintain reporting dashboards
  • Collaborate across various teams including Product, Sales, and Strategy and come up with strategies on how SEO channel can complement Product roadmaps

What You'll Need:

  • Experience working in SEO with a demonstrable understanding of SEO best practices
  • Proficient in Technical SEO, ability to identify opportunities pertaining to website crawlability, page speed, core web vitals, html/css/js improvements, and managing a CMS
  • Experience with content creation
  • Excellent writer and communicator
  • Strong background with keyword research
  • Experience understanding the value, relevance and intent of keywords as they relate to respective campaigns
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and Tableau, and an understanding of how to use this data to improve search visibility and user experience
  • Search analytics background and exceptional quantitative skills for analyzing data, proposing actionable recommendations and taking action on it
  • Expert at Excel or Google sheets, SEMrush or analogous keyword research tools, as well as crawling tools such as Screaming Frog
