WorkWave is looking for a software engineer to work on our core SaaS web-based application. We’re looking for smart, hard-working people who see problems as challenges and strive to meet them. People with a high degree of ownership who can bring solutions to the table and consider the entire application when working on one small part. Successful candidates will play a key role supporting the technical design, development, and troubleshooting of a market-leading product for the field service industry.


  • Troubleshoots a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise.
  • Apply scientific methodology to break down complex problems to their root causes.
  • Perform refactoring to enhance functionality and performance with modern best practices.
  • Interpret business specifications and perform analysis/design functions.
  • Create detail tech designs for large scale projects involving multiple teams.
  • Independently perform problem determination and resolution.
  • Collaborate with offshore team members and onshore stakeholders over the design and development of project stories and tasks.
  • Coordinate testing and debugging for programming changes among support staff and Quality Assurance.
  • Repairs issues in documentation, software or visual designs.


  • 3+ years of experience in Agile SW development projects
  • Knowledge of object oriented programming, preferably in .NET
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Javascript frameworks, preferably React are a plus
  • Understanding & implementation of CSS/SCSS & HTML are a plus
  • Strong SQL/RDBMS/ORM experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Are able to work independently and prioritize work as needed
  • Strong Team building skills – This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work across departments and with other teams
  • Availability to work on-call rotation


  • Preferred knowledge of distributed version control systems (Git is a plus)
  • Experience in a SaaS development environment
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or a related field is preferred
