Position Summary:The Product Owner/Product Leader is the internal roadmap owner within the Lighthouse team, and has responsibility for understanding the market problems uncovered by the Product Managers and Market teams and designing and documenting features and functionality to address these problems. This position involves close interaction with engineering, application teams and key partners across the organization. The Product Owner is involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle and owns the execution phases of the product management lifecycle.

We've all heard about the importance of managing healthcare data - storing, protecting, sharing and analysis - to help create a holistic view of patients, personalize treatments...But what about sharing data to improve scientific research?https://pointclickcare.com/blog/innovation/pointclickcares-lighthouse-project-a-beacon-for-the-new-era-in-healthcare/ Key Responsibilities·       Leading and contributing to the product planning phase by identifying ways industry innovations can be leveraged, creation of user stories, flows and diagrams; and coordinating the cross-functional product plans.·       Managing the product backlog and delivery plans through the execution phase of projects·       Ensuring projects are executed to planned schedule, proactively eliminating obstacles and escalating when projects are at risk.·       You will be interacting regularly with the Product Management team that sets our roadmap and strategy, as well as the project, engineering, and operationalization teams responsible for architecting and developing our offerings daily as you drive the product requirement and delivery.  ·       Creating business and technical documentation, as well as providing input and feedback on planned enhancements collected from various stakeholders.·       Working with pilot groups and customers alongside the Product Manager to gather and incorporate feedback into the product, as well as working with existing customer to understand enhancements, build their feedback into the plan, an own and execute as part of our product roadmap. ·       Investigating, gathering and documenting detailed information regarding bugs, defects What qualifications do you look for?·       Ideally, we’re looking for someone with experience managing commercial software products through the entire software development lifecycle (Agile)·      Previous Jira experience strongly preferred·      We really like candidates that have prior experience working with or leading cross-functional teams, who are curious, able to solve complex problems, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and execute on software product roadmaps.·       Bonus points if you have experience with, or demonstrated understanding of clinical software, ·       Bonus points if you have data and reporting experience, especially with SAAS based reporting software (in-house or through tools like Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, etc)·       Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science/engineering, or a healthcare related field of study preferredIt is the policy of PointClickCare to ensure equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other basis protected by law.
