Mods assist and guide customers to the right answers, solve concerns and are the GPS for customers to understand and optimize the best use of a client's product or services. Project gigs are available now and more are on the horizon.

ModSquad has worked on a number of tasks, but we are expanding to provide Community Content Moderation for our client.
Project Hours (All Times Pacific):Monday - Friday, 12 am - 10 pmSaturday - Sunday, 6 am - 4 pm(Some weekend availability required (2+ hours) to fill Saturday/Sunday hours)
Especially Seeking Availability:Monday - Friday: 12-2 am, 2-4 am, 8-10 am, 6-8 pm, 8-10 pm, 10-12 pmSaturday - Sunday, 6-8 am, 2-4 pm
Hourly Rate:To be discussed in the interview phase
Commitment:8 - 10 hours per week


  • Monitoring and logging trending issues shared by the community across platforms. 
  • Escalating major issues (service outages, crisis management, game stopping issues) that are observed to the community on-call team via shared Slack communication channel and email.
  • Monitor forum posts, actively enforce community guidelines, keeping discussions civil and on topic.
  • Identify interesting projects.
  • Organize and maintain the integrity of categories and topics by methods such as rerouting discussions and closing topics.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Game Dev/engine experience & knowledge
  • Moderation experience
  • Forum management experience is a bonus
  • Familiarity with Discourse is a bonus
  • Passionate about gaming
  • Reliable & flexible with scheduling is a must
  • Ability to follow client guidelines while remaining objective
  • Understanding of the possibility of exposure to graphic language/content

WorkSpace Requirements:

  • Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above
  • Willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on the phone
