Ruby Labs is hiring a talented VP of People to join our face-paced and high-growth team. This position is responsible for leading Ruby Labs People function and strategy; advancing programs in Human Resources, Recruiting and all other programs and strategy related to Employee Engagement & Experience.
In this role, you will serve as a member of the management team and a thought partner to the CEO to provide HR insights with regards to leadership, coaching, employee relations, talent acquisition, engagement, culture, compensation, organisational design and change, performance management, learning, and development.
Job responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance on the end-to-end people function and all people operations;- Leading on employee engagement and satisfaction, including culture and retention in a remote environment;- Contributing to a People strategy that helps the business achieve its objectives and establishes the business as a 'best - place to work' in the market;- Building best in class employee lifecycle, from L&D to performance reviews, progression and everything in between- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and other executives;- Support our Talent team efforts to hire top talent;- Facilitate the growth of culture and values at Ruby Labs.
What We're Looking For-Proven and trusted business partner and leader. Partnered with leadership to understand short and long-term business goals and has built a People and Talent strategy that align and support these priorities;- Experience scaling and leading a best-in-class People & Talent team at a growth-stage, high tech company, scaled from ~100 up to ~500 employees, ideally up to 1,000 employees. Distributed/remote team experience is a bonus;- Seasoned knowledge and experience in the various People and Talent functional areas: HR operations, organisational design, talent strategy & management, talent development, L&D, performance management, employee relations, total rewards and more;- Established company wide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goals and diversity metrics that have been incorporated into performance, compensation and retention. Has previously developed and scaled DEI strategies and programs that have created inclusiveness and growth within an organization;- 8+ years of HR/People Operations experience or total combined professional work experience (e.g. Business Operations);- 5+ years management experience hiring, coaching, mentoring and developing a high performing People and Talent organization;- Human Resources related Masters Degree, CIPD Level 5 or 7 (if hiring in the UK) or similar.
