...of Sales Technical expertise, driving demos for our deeply technical customers and fielding questions about everything from common deployment models to programmatic API integration. You are the last stop on the bus for all pre-sales technical inquiries -- you represent the company and product to our most technical buyers. You will deftly transition from business value to technical implementation, demonstration, and confirmation (“How awesome was that?”) in the blink of an eye. The power to context switch up and down the stack should be second nature to you. You are ready to ascend to strongDM fame and glory.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Account Executives in delivering a deeply technical sales process
  • Discover and identify key technical pain, and correlate to the opportunity the customer has to improve and succeed
  • Help establish highly repeatable (and scalable) SE processes where necessary
  • Discover all the deep technical secrets about our product and help strategically round out our offering to increase market share
  • Own the magic of our demo, and add your own twist as new features and capabilities come online
  • Find new ways to engage customers, demonstrate the power of SDM, and solve one of the biggest technological pains that every company still faces today.


  • 2+ years as a Sales Engineer
  • 1+ years of cloud experience (either operationally or delivering cloud solutions)
  • Deep technical knowledge in multiple domains commonly found in scaling startups and/or technically forward enterprises.
  • Can quickly diagnose inquiries from customers into both business and technical aspects
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communications skills across written and spoken channels.
  • A driven, uncontrollable passion for learning!
  • The ability to have fun, work hard, and win as a functional team
