A key member of the Operational Leadership Team, the Vice President of Fulfillment Operations will Lead the strategy and execution of Fulfillment operations across all lines of business. This individual will be responsible for crafting and executing our fulfillment and logistics strategy,  work closely with Product & Engineering teams to develop and refine our backend technologies to further optimize and improve our operational processes and procedure. This position works closely with the Vice President of Sourcing and Supply Chain to ensure strategies, tactical plans, and decisions are aligned with the vision of the organization, leveraging data and analytics to ensure successful execution.  Additionally, the role is responsible for providing the framework that will enable Truepill's long term growth by allocating human and financial resources to optimize the organizational structure and scope of responsibility. The individual collaborates effectively with cross functional team members in Business Development, Customer Operations, Engineering, Pharmacy Operations, Compliance, and Finance to direct, communicate, and support the entire organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Direct the development and implementation of operational technologies, warehouse automation, and geographical expansion strategies.
  • Accountable for inbound and outbound logistics strategy and execution against key operational metrics including processing, fulfillment, order management, transportation, delivery, shipping, warehouse pickup, 3rd party partners, and reverse logistics
  • Increase overall team performance by improving workflow efficiency and ensuring individual accountability based on weekly reported KPIs of inbound processing, inventory levels/sell-through, outbound fulfillment times, shipping/delivery costs, and efficiency of our entire logistics cycle.
  • Act as key liaison with clients on procurement, fulfillment, logistics, and freight-related issues
  • Developing a high-performing and diverse team by attracting, selecting, developing, and retaining talented individuals positioned to meet Truepill’s growth strategy.
  • Leads annual and monthly commercial business reviews including the monthly S&OP, budget review. This includes being the liaison to Finance for the annual revenue and expense process for the group.

We're Looking for Someone With:

  • Minimum of 12 years of diversified and progressive experience leading in a supply chain/fulfillment operations capacity - procurement, order fulfillment, logistics, and/or supply chain systems
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Business, Operations, or Finance preferred (MBA, MS in Engineering, Operations or advanced degree also desirable)
  • Effective working in a team environment with strong collaboration skills to gain alignment within an organization and optimize partnerships with other functions including Finance, Engineering, Pharmacy Operations, and Customer Operations
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment with conflicting priorities, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction within a fast-moving, challenging, and energetic environment
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative
  • Adept at creating simple solutions to complex problems or issues
  • High level of personable accountability, responsibility, and integrity with the ability to set and hold themselves and others to high standards 
  • Experience managing direct reports and leading a cross-functional team
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, including experience with data visualization suites and modeling
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
