The Director of GTM Business Systems will collaborate cross-functionally within the Operations department and with key stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, CS, and GTM teams. This individual will own the overall strategy, vision, evaluation, selection and procurement of the GTM tech stack including managing, maintaining, enhancing and developing existing systems. Additionally they will plan for, evaluate, and execute new technology solutions that enable scalability and revenue growth. This role will report directly to the VP, Operations and join as one of the first GTM Business Systems team members. They will also have one direct report to start with and the opportunity to build, grow and scale a team of business systems SMEs.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the GTM Business Systems function
  • Recruit, hire and train a team of business systems analyst, system admins, solutions architects, developers and engineers 
  • Conduct central management across all GTM systems to ensure alignment of features and integrations
  • Own the technology roadmap and GTM Technology architecture & infrastructure strategy as well as maintenance and governance of all systems and data in respective systems 
  • Manage stakeholder requests and prioritization of system-impacting work and project requests 
  • Perform configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of existing technologies
  • Research followed by evaluation, implementation and integration of new technologies 
  • Continuously learn and increase education about new features and releases of all tech stack
  • Partner with Product, Engineering and BI on new and existing integrations with GTM tech stack
  • Work with business and operations stakeholders to understand business requirements/details and needs and advise, propose, design, and build technical solutions : gather requirements, create user stories, build acceptance tests, effectively ship enhancements, new features, and functionality
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and solutions and vice versa
  • Design, build, test, deploy solutions and provide post-deploy support
  • Ensure proper collection and data consistency 
  • Maintain data quality, integrity and cleanliness
  • Perform data maintenance including deduplication and normalization
  • Partner with Product, Engineering and BI to ensure GTM systems integrate seamlessly with Vendr Admin/Product

What we need:

  • 7-9 years of business systems / technical systems experience, ideally within a SaaS company 
  • Experience with managing and developing in Salesforce (Sales and Service Cloud) and HubSpot (Marketing Automation & Website optimization) 
  • Experience with different Marketing, Sales and CS systems (i.e., Outreach, LeanData, LeadIQ, Clari, Xactly, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, Scratchpad, etc.)
  • Nice to have: Experience with data visualization tools (i.e. Looker, Tableau, Anaplan, etc.) 
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of working with project management and productivity tools (i.e., Asana, Confluence, Coda, Airtable) 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides /Pitch  
  • Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders 
  • Stakeholder management and expectation setting
  • Strategic, technical thinking with strong business acumen
  • Passion for solving complex problems
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results working x-functionally
