Coursera is searching for a sharp, motivated Salesforce expert to join our team as a Systems Administrator  to develop and support our Salesforce organizations. You will partner with our business & product  stakeholders on transformational processes in our areas of Sales, Service, Support, Application and Marketing solutions spanning operational strategy, business process and implementation. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our team to establish the project vision and lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver transformational projects. 


  • Implement/build/deliver Salesforce declarative configurations and solutions that are in line with Salesforce best practices 
  • Overseeing current projects and responsible for their successful project delivery 
  • Provide oversight, security and governance of Salesforce organizations
  • Demonstrated  expertise in operational strategy, process, and technology in the areas of Sales, Service or Marketing 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand their business processes and requirements in order to develop and deliver best practices, delivery templates, and point-of-view papers 
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new Salesforce requests while overseeing daily operations of a complex Salesforce ecosystem and  managing profiles, user roles, workflow rules and other declarative mechanisms  
  • Partner closely with engineers, product managers, end users, and others to design / implement solutions on Salesforce

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce
  • Demonstrated experience with click to configure functionality such as Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules,  creating new fields, objects, etc.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize the impact of new requirements and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes while providing end-user support and issue resolution to enhance and optimize Salesforce
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire - Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator and/or Salesforce App Builder.
  • Demonstrated ability at project delivery, including all aspects of program management and the software development life-cycle with exposure toe Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce Admissions Connect, EDA and Education Cloud.
  • Good project management skills
  • Prior experience in the education space (either as a parent, a student, teacher etc.)
  •  Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and demonstrating creative and analytical thinking
