Job Description 
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Operations, the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a strategic partner who negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business stakeholders and Enterprise Solutions & Applications (ESA) teams, and takes ownership for supporting, enabling and accelerating achievement of business strategy and business value results.  
The BRM manages key enablement relationships with Executive Level stakeholders. They play an important integrating role between senior Business Leaders across an assigned business portfolio and the ESA teams that support them. They are a key resource in establishing and elevating stakeholder awareness and confidence in services offered by ESA. Success in this role means that we have Business Partners that are champions and advocates for ESA due to our ability to converge business and organizational needs with the priorities and efforts of the teams delivering on their expectations. This role ensures that we are optimizing the value of the tools and services that we use to support our business process and raising visibility of that to our leaders.
Key Responsibilities   Proactively acts as a “trusted advisor,” and functions as a key point of contact for technology business stakeholders. Represents and promotes Enterprise Solutions and Applications’ vision, value, services, and capabilities to Executive Leadership and advocates on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure technology services meet their business priorities and needs.  Manages an assigned portfolio of business relationships. This includes planning with the leader and business unit to ensure internal projects are effectively resourced, funded and completed. This role will facilitate senior-level discussions and report on performance against identified objectives and KPIs.  Maintains focused oversight and provides guidance and insights across the whole service delivery lifecycle - Discovery, Planning, Development, Launch, Closeout  Takes inputs from multiple sources and establishes coherent frameworks that support business objectives and takes capabilities and capacity into account. Ensures that the diverse mix of internal resources, technology products, suppliers and vendors come together to deliver a relevant and value driven technology service.  Understands and anticipates current and future opportunities across assigned business portfolio area. Makes recommendations for existing and new processes that support the desired future state, based on business relevance and value, impact on end-user products and services, business processes and system priorities, timing, technology, implementation, and deployment.  Leverages in-depth knowledge of business needs and ESA capabilities to identify and articulate how proposed solutions would support the achievement of short and long-term business goals.  Leads and champions change management activities at employee and leadership levels (including development of targeted communication strategies, impact analyses, facilitation of advocacy and coaching conversations, and development of mitigation plans to minimize disruption and expedite achievement of desired results from technology-enabled initiatives).  Individuals in this role must be able to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, listen to others and integrate divergent perspectives and opinions, mitigate conflicts, build alliances, influence and achieve desired results using strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills across all organizational levels.  Partners with Solution Managers and System Architects to understand new technology trends and forecast future requirements while providing navigation (with Security, IT, Legal) through the Enterprise Applications landscape  Partners with business leadership to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, and determine how they fit into business capability roadmaps and priorities. Identify and integrate business partners' long range plans into business capability roadmaps and priorities, as appropriate.
