Description: As a Solution Principal, you work with senior decision makers at admired brands on a mission critical task—helping companies improve in the eyes of their customers and employees. You will drive innovation and adoption of cutting-edge technology with the purpose of tackling real business problems and embedding analytics at all levels of an organization. You are a critical member of the customer organization; a trusted advisor for our prospects and customers, and a leader, teacher, and mentor within Medallia on customer experience and industry best practices.


  • Shape our clients’ and prospects’ CX and EX vision by sharing best practices, telling stories about how other organizations we’ve worked with have approached obstacles and challenges, and serving as an Analytics domain expert during sales cycles.
  • Articulate Medallia’s value proposition, differentiation, and market leadership in the Analytics space
  • Act as a GTM and enablement lead across sales organization on development of playbooks and best practices.
  • Serve as a field-facing technical expert for Medallia’s Analytics product suitePartner with Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams on roadmap prioritization and best practices development for Analytics programs & products.
  • Be an active contributor to the community, both inside and outside of Medallia, through sharing of thought leadership and best practices via content development, speaking events, customer advisory board, etc.

Skills & Expertise

  • Deep experience creating and recommending Analytics Strategies across for both Power User and Operational use cases & business units (e.g. Insights, Digital, Product, Marketing, and Operational Teams such as Support and Sales)
  • Confident experience with & interest in several solutions across the Analytics space including but not limited to Text Analytics, Machine Learning, Journey Analytics, Speech Analytics, Social Listening, Data Integrations & ETL, Experience Analytics, and Feedback Programs.
  • Significant experience presenting to senior executives / strategic accounts
  • Consulting skills (e.g. strategic, technological) and balance between a service-driven and sales mindset
  • Solution-oriented; passion for creative problem solving, comfortable tackling new and undefined problem spaces with minimal guidance
  • Passion for learning and helping others
  • Team-oriented and works well in a collaborative environment


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years in the Analytics space either as a consultant, seller, or program manager - with a software provider or with an organization
  • 2-3+ years of experience in Customer Experience and/or Operational Customer Experience Management
  • High capacity to learn new terminology, technology, and products
  • Comfort supporting a large, global organization
