Role Overview:As the Go-to-Market Lead, you will join a small-but-mighty marketing team at a fast-paced, early-stage housing startup rooted in a deeply impactful mission. This is an exciting opportunity to shape your own role to suit your interests and core competencies in collaboration with leadership. As Homebound’s acting regional marketing manager, you will support new market expansion into the southeast, west coast regions and beyond. This means being responsible for deploying marketing programs and initiatives that enable our Sales team to execute the core aspects of their jobs more effectively, especially as it relates to selling in-construction homes and acquiring new lots to develop into beautiful Homebound homes.
Success in this role will be the effective deployment of GTM programs in each region (created in partnership with leaders and stakeholders across the org); the development of customer segment-specific strategies to meet local consumer and community expectations; and reliable, on-brand sales support and enablement to drive revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Shape Homebound’s local marketing strategy in each new city in collaboration with heads of Marketing, Sales and Growth, and work to establish our presence in new markets (Austin, Dallas) as well as existing ones (Santa Rosa, Los Angeles, Bahamas)
  • Contribute to market launch playbook with comprehensive reports and research findings in the key areas of consumer research (personas/segmentation), market trends (real estate, design, amenities, neighborhoods) and competitive analysis
  • Be responsible for managing local marketing projects while working closely with Marketing HQs to ensure brand consistency is maintained in each geography
  • Serve as a brand representative for Homebound during client and industry events, key brand sponsorships, non-profit sponsorships, architecture, design and realtor networking and earned and paid media junkets
  • Facilitate regional adoption and awareness of our three product lines, with the goal of growing our referral and trade partner network as well as increase sales pipelines
  • Collaborate across Sales, Tech, Construction, and other cross-functional teams to gather applicable resources and produce materials to support both online and offline marketing campaigns
  • Work with Content Coordinator on content planning and execution in order to increase MQLs and SQLs (whitepapers, webpages and landing pages, SEO articles, email campaigns, etc)
  • Own change management of sales enablement and regional marketing ops processes and protocols across the org
  • Analyze local media landscape and assist with local media strategy (print and digital) in collaboration with marketing leadership
  • Manage production of sales enablement materials such as presentations, PDFs and physical brochuresIdentify and guide opportunities for building scalable systems that will allow the local teams to grow effectively
  • Operationalize and institutionalize key strategic marketing decisions for a new Homebound city or region
  • Evaluate and create marketing opportunities for each region to reach key audiences and stakeholders in the Realtor, A&D and Consumer categories
  • Enable and demonstrate innovative thinking to meet team and individual goals and communicate the unique Homebound value proposition 
  • Leverage relationship-building and strong communication skills to garner local community buy-in to Homebound’s vision and mission

What You'll Bring

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a regional marketing and/or sales operations role at a hospitality, retail or real estate company preferred
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Scrappy, solution-oriented mindset and work approach: you should be able to make a new Homebound city come to life with limited resources
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • High EQ (emotional intelligence) and “team first, me second” attitude
  • Charisma and a natural ability to connect with others, including high profile and private clientele
  • Experience leading revenue-generating marketing programs within an organization with proven results
  • Attention to detail and maintaining a high-quality bar for BrandExcels in execution, establishing priorities and meeting swift deadlines at a fast pace in a rapidly changing environment
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities needed to drive the Homebound brand at a regional level
  • Willingness to travel
