The Role:
As the Director of User Experience, you will define and drive the evolution of Treasure Data’s product design, leading a team of UX Designers and working in close partnership with Product Management and Engineering to help deliver our unique and innovative user experiences.
You have passion for your craft and use that passion to add fidelity to the core of our product experiences. You understand that your work influences product strategy as well as our public identity and are excited to motivate your team to push the boundaries of what is possible.
We are a big data company, but some of our target persona’s are non-technical users - typically marketing, sales and customer support professionals. As such, we need someone who is able to boil down complex technical interactions into smooth user experiences. Simplicity and clarity are at the core of our user experience. We strive to create intuitive, innovative products that our customers love… products that make big data easy to navigate and take action on. We do this by understanding not only our customer’s desired outcome, but also their needs, behaviors and how they are individually measured. Our goal is to ensure they are successful.
Our team of UX Designers are maniacal about quality, usability and simplicity. We work collaboratively as a team to solve complex data challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products’ unique capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have deep, hands-on experience managing a UX team for an enterprise grade software-as-a-service company, preferably in the realm of marketing. You have built or significantly improved a company’s visual design language and are comfortable interacting with executives. You have strong organizational, interpersonal and team building skills, along with a good understanding of the enterprise software development process.
You will join an exciting new team of doers who are passionate about building applications that change the lives of marketers, sales people and service center agents… and the customers they serve. Being a late-stage start-up we thrive on change and are looking for another like-minded, smart person to join our team. The core of our applications product management team is located in Mountain View, CA and this position will be based there.
