Job Description Summary: Rackspace Application Solutions is looking for a product manager to own and rapidly evolve our services and product portfolio for Observability and Testing Solutions in line with the overall direction and strategy of the organization.  This role will be critical to building new, flexible offers focused on both Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Testing Services along with how they can be leveraged together to enhance Dev cycles and reduce issues.  This role will also play a part in building and evolving our partnerships with Observability/APM and Testing software vendors. With your peers, including other product managers and architects, you will act as a business and subject matter leader, managing the roadmap, feature set, and overall business results owner for your product area.  This includes working with product engineering, delivery, and development, assisting the marketing team with collateral generation, launch activities, and marketing assets, engaging with prospects and customers to gather insights, understanding customer issues, supporting customer success, and engaging with sales in enablement and pursuit as well as any other activities needed to execute on product business strategy. Job Description:Build and manage Observability and Testing related offers (including resale) based on overall solution strategy, customer feedback, industry trends, and other research, coordinating with Product Management peers as requiredOwn the execution of the roadmap, coordinate with internal engineering and delivery teams as well as selected partnersDefine product requirements and use casesBuild and enhance partnerships and go to market strategies with Observability/Testing software vendorsBuild relationships and coordinate with mass scale providers such as AWS, Microsoft, and Google as well as Rackspace’s partner leaders to define solutions for Cloud Native applications and leveraging Cloud native technologyDevelop a build/buy/partner framework for evaluating how to fill product gapsWork with Engineering to manage and prioritize product backlogCollaborate with delivery to build capacity and skill set planning modelsPerform market research to inform the roadmap and understand the competitionCoordinate with marketing on GTM planning and collateral developmentSupport sales on customer calls to pursue deals and gather customer feedbackEnable sales with training appropriate to positioning and supporting the productWork with marketing to develop appropriate collateral, perform PR, and communicate bi-directionally with analystsDevelop business cases for new offers and releases Requirements:7-10+ years of product management, or equivalent, experience in the Observability/APM industry with a proven track record of product ownership and success growing products and servicesSignificant exposure and knowledge of Observability and Testing marketExperience with one or more of the following solutions: AppDynamics, New Relic, Datadog, DynatraceAbility to define and launch innovative services productsExperience working with Agile engineering teamsExperience working with partners in the development and delivery of service productsDemonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders clearly, experience communicating with industry analystsAbility to own execution without continuous oversightDemonstrated flexibility to wear multiple hats as requiredBachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferredAbility to work within a remote team About Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
