About Your Role:
The Lead Creative Designer will work closely alongside the marketing team to translate business and marketing needs into strong and impactful designs that clearly communicate Sendoso’s value. You will be responsible for further stewarding, protecting, and executing the look and feel of the Sendoso visual brand narrative as it relates to design identity, campaign creation, etc. You’ll contribute to a scalable, defensible visual language that is undeniably Sendoso and aligns with our brand visual, messaging, design principles, and core values. Notably, Sendoso is rebranding and will debut the new look (as well as a totally new website!) in January 2022—this creates a tremendous opportunity to pave the way for our new expression. This role can be based in any time zone, but you would need to be reliably available from ~8:00am–12:00pm Pacific Time for regular team meetings.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate closely with the Art Director, Marketing Design team, future Creative Director, marketers, dev, and vendors.
  • Define and design Sendoso-branded experiences that are human, approachable, inclusive, and informed.
  • Explore, evolve, and define the new Sendoso brand.
  • Conceptualize digital marketing content, including creating templates for marketing collateral (landing pages, case studies, eBooks, one-pagers, promotional images, social media, event collateral etc.) and designing full marketing campaigns. 
  • Work on a wide range of projects from campaigns to packaging to presentation decks to web pages.
  • Once campaigns are concepted, work with the Production Artist and rest of the design team to produce at scale for whatever assets are necessary.
  • Deliver design assets for print production and work closely with vendors to produce direct mail, print brochures, event collateral, and more. 
  • Explore and support web animation as we dive deeper into a website overhaul.
  • Clearly articulate your design decisions and embrace constructive criticism as part of the design process, and a tight-knit team. 
  • Create organized systems and processes that can be easily replicated in the future for a different application or campaign.
  • Image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation
  • Ensure that brand and design elements are consistently applied.
  • Maintain design libraries, style guides, and templates.

Experience:

  • 5–7+ years of professional creative design experience 
  • Exceptional portfolio featuring detailed design work, including examples of concept and applying insights, web pages, asset production 
  • A command of visual and communication design principles including typography, iconography, photography, and grid systems.
  • Highly skilled in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, presentation platforms (Google Slides, PPT, Keynote, etc.) and other design tools. 
  • Knowledge of pre-press.
  • Knowledge of preparing files for web development.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • The ability to work with cross-functional partners in the marketing, buyer-experience, and product design organizations.
  • Understanding and proven experience working with style sheets, color concepts, master pages, libraries, etc.

  • Have packaging knowledge
