As a Regional Account Executive, you'll be responsible for growing new business for the Home Health, Hospice, Palliative, and Private Duty business unit of WellSky within a defined region. In this role, you'd be responsible for effectively developing and managing customer relationships and executing the sales process- including lead generation, working with partners, and effectively communicating between channels as needed.  Tracking the status and activities of all assigned accounts in the appropriate tracking systems and generating periodic reports will be key to success in this position. You'll use strong communication skills to hunt, engage and nurture current and potential customer relationships through ensuring proper setting of expectations and responding to escalated customer issues. This division within WellSky is expected to see paramount growth and the Regional Account Executive will be a key driver in this endeavor. Key Activities

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Create and execute a sales prospecting plan to penetrate target accounts and capture significant market share within Wellsky home health, hospice, and personal care accounts
  • Source new sales opportunities through creative outbound prospecting and limited inbound lead generation
  • Build relationships with key decision makers across all prospect accounts
  • Effectively deliver sales pitches and product demonstrations to prospects/clients to showcase value
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects/clients to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Remain knowledgeable of WellSky’s solutions/services to support prospect and client needs
  • Drive event attendance for webinars, trade shows/conferences, executive dinners, and other events
  • Disciplined use of to record all communication with each lead, contact and account 
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members throughout the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline
  • 3+ years in managing a complex sales cycle and delivering presentations to create value for multiple stakeholders
  • 5+ years of experience in direct software sales, health information technology software
  • Experience generating proposals and mapping out detailed close plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applicable sales certifications
  • Healthcare experience, general understanding of how value-based care and pay for performance are shaping the future of healthcare
  • 5+ years in enterprise sales
  • Experience using SalesForce

Additional Job Requirements

  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time
    Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
