8x8, Inc. is looking for a Sr Commission Manager to lead our US/ANZ internal and external commissions and drive exciting projects.  We are looking for a strong leader and business partner who is an innovative forward thinker to help drive our continued success.  You will be joining a dynamic team that encourages individual growth and team development.  This is a high visibility role with opportunity for growth within the organization.  In the role you will work closely with Sales Ops, Billings, Biz Apps, HR, and Sales leadership to lead implementation, administration of our incentive programs, and commission metrics.
This position is a people manager role and will be responsible for end to end comp administration. This role requires an individual who is able to work in a team environment, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive, a strong communicator, analytical, and demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making skills.  The role will require someone who can complete root cause analysis, work with large data sets, and drive process improvement.  
ResponsibilitiesManage the monthly and quarterly commission operations process for a set of direct and indirect sales teams. This includes understanding and applying the commission plan consistently, maintaining quotas and rates, ensuring the commission calculations comply with the plan, and managing exception requests. Provide expertise, support, and training to the teams on these plans.Manage and properly resolve case inquiries for responsible sales regions. Process corrections and adjustments as they arise in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with stated SLA.Communicate with all levels of sales to drive requirements, communications, process improvements, and customer satisfaction. Effectively handle escalations as they arise.With each new fiscal year, participate in rolling out new plans, including training, testing, and updating policies and processes.Support Director and participate in the monthly Commissions Advisory Committee. Liaise with global teams to clarify requests that require escalation, prepare documentation and recommendations, and implement decisions.Create and drive a project plan for delivering cross-regional and interdepartmental process improvements.
Required Skills/ExperienceMinimum of 6+ years related experience, which includes a working knowledge of data modeling adept at root cause analysis.Minimum of 4+ years experience managing and mentoring a distributed team.Must have strong Excel skills.Must be able to accurately compile and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative dataProblem solving skills and cross functional communication skills.Experience driving process improvements and developing efficiencies in process.BA/BS degree or equivalent
