Events Marketing Managers are responsible for the strategic planning and execution of corporate and sponsored events and assist with internal meetings, such as Sales or Marketing Kickoffs. They partner across marketing and other departments to ensure events are in-brand and in alignment with business objectives. They host and lead cross-functional meetings to prepare event participants, including senior management, and communicate clearly event objectives and results to broader groups. They gather and present KPIs and continuously explore options to improve event outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Own the strategic planning of in-person and virtual events, including tradeshows, industry events, webinars and customer events aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Demand, Creative, Comms and Product and other senior leaders to create an exceptional in-brand event experience
  • Develop an overall critical path milestone plan for all events; manage timeline to ensure actions are completed and deliverables are met
  • Execute small- and large-scale events, tradeshows and conferences and virtual events; manage all event logistics
  • Organize and lead internal event prep meetings; document and communicate event details with participants and senior leaders
  • Collect, digest and share event feedback and to implement key learnings for future programs
  • Oversee and manage global events calendar for Emburse
  • Continuously evolve event initiatives and assets to maximize brand awareness and business outcomes
  • Analyze and report on events ROI to senior leaders and cross-functional team members

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred: Marketing Degree or in Related Field
  • 7+ years in the Event Management industry, direct experience with producing small and large scale virtual and in-person events in B2B software industry
  • Energetic, motivated, highly organized multi-tasker with great attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
  • Has broad event expertise or unique industry knowledge
  • Out-of-the-box thinker
  • Clear communicator both with internal teams and across the company
  • Ability to prioritize based on the needs of the business
  • Working knowledge of virtual platforms, conference tools, Salesforce
  • Ability to analyze data to make strategic decisions
  • Lead joint partner marketing plan development with Global License Partner Manager aligning on tailored market growth strategies and developing programs inclusive of events and tactics with measurable KPIs
  • Enrich and expand relationships with our partners by planning and managing co-marketing efforts ,including marketing campaigns, field events (virtual and IRL), content marketing and other initiatives
  • Increase awareness and generate leads from each partner
  • Identify, build and promote case studies to increase awareness in targeted audience segments
  • Educate partner managers and the partner community on global and regional marketing initiatives, including product marketing, customer marketing, digital activations, campaigns, content and PR initiatives
  • Ensure timely and relevant communications are deployed to keep our partners abreast of program and product enhancements
  • Drive new partner acquisition through campaigns that build the partner programs brand and drive conversion in the forms of new partner sign ups
  • Produce and deliver presentations to internal and partner audiences
  • Assess the effectiveness of your initiatives. Report on success metrics, insights, and recommendations
  • Answer partner marketing requests, prioritizing workflow, and identifying new opportunities
  • Manage technical aspects of the virtual/hybrid events such as webinars, video conferences, live streams, online team buildings and celebrations
  • Source and manage suppliers. Review and negotiate contracts. Identify new preferred partners and cost- efficient opportunities
  • English and Spanish is a must
  • Further European languages will be appreciated: Italian & French
