This role drives the implementation, support, and management of healthcare quality programs across the healthcare (non-pharmacy) pillars for Truepill.
This position, reporting to the Head of Compliance, will provide mentorship and assistance for the Lines of Business (LoB) in the establishment of quality strategies to achieve quality objectives. The role supports and maintains quality management standards and policies.

What you will be doing:

  • Serve as the Truepill’s designated Healthcare Quality Management subject matter expert
  • Leads the development of Quality Management programs for the healthcare lines of business, inclusive of diagnostics, telehealth and others as defined.
  • Maintains the Quality Management System required for compliance with 21 DFR, Part 820 
  • Promotes quality management as an embedded characteristic all healthcare operations through appropriate applications of technologies, policies, and practices
  • Evaluates existing and ongoing quality management systems and processes for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Evaluates 3rd party services as quality partners
  • Conducts quality evaluations of both in-house and vendor provided solutions 
  • Conducts routine evaluations of existing programs in association with compliance and operations
  • Supports regulatory compliance programs, facilitating and responding to audits and surveys
  • Develops, defines, and provides Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics in support of senior management oversight
  • Support development of dashboards and other tools to support quality improvement activities and demonstration of outcomes
  • Analyze data for possible data integrity and data deficits as required
  • Partner with Medical Director to establish Provider quality programs (i.e. OPPE/FPPE)
  • Work closely with product development teams to consider and communicate quality impacts and requirements of new or modified clinical products/services. This includes necessary process, technology, data, and other requirements
  • Collaborate with Compliance to ensure capture, analysis and reporting of patient safety events
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

  • Registered Nurse 
  • Four-year degree in nursing or related healthcare field
  • 7+ years of experience in Healthcare quality management 
  • CPHQ certification
  • Prior experience with HEDIS
  • Experience with establishment and management of Quality programs in healthcare
  • Experience in meeting URAC, JCAHO, NCQA or related standards
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry quality and patient safety standards 
  • Experience working within multiple affiliated organizations with shared services models.
  • Experience in data privacy regulations (HIPAA) especially related to quality data
  • Capable of handling and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-based, constantly evolving environment while remaining organized and diligent to detail
