About the Job

  • We are looking for a Director of Business Systems & Analytics, to bring our critical business tools, process, and data together and enable Airbase to scale effectively while executing against strategic initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build out our current implementations, including our data platform, GTM tools & processes, and key analytics reporting. You will report to the CFO and work regularly with the rest of the leadership team as this is a strategic role within the company. The ideal candidate has experience building out scalable data foundations, while supporting the needs and growth of the internal teams: Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, etc. If you are data-obsessed, love connecting the dots, thrive in an iterative environment and are not afraid to get your hands dirty, this is the role for you.

What you’ll do

  • Provide guidance to functional leaders on business processes, evolution of the data platform, and decisions including accurate analysis of user and business data
  • Lead strategic cross-functional data initiatives to stitch together Airbase customer journey data for internal analytics consumption
  • Partner with RevOps and Data Engineering teams to ensure relevant data is centralized into the data warehouse, modeled for performant analytics, and meeting high-quality standards
  • Own the development process for our GTM and operations analytics reporting. This includes meeting with internal customers to understand their needs, partnering with data engineering to centralize dispersed data, understanding the core data models, writing code to enrich and manipulate data, and designing and iterating dashboards.

About Our Tools

  • Data Platform: Postgres, Snowflake, dbt, Stitch, Tableau, Reverse ETL, Segment, etc.
  • GTM: Salesforce, Marketo, NetSuite, Outreach, Zendesk, etc.

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in operations, analytics and strategy within a high growth SaaS company
  • Experience partnering with different go-to-market and product teams such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Product etc. and a thorough understanding of B2B, PLG and SaaS sales
  • You have strong SQL skills, experience with dbt data modeling
  • You thrive in an iterative environment and are not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • You are effective at communicating with stakeholders with varying business goals and levels of technical knowledge
