About The PositionThe Corporate Marketing team at Contrast Security is responsible for the creation and execution of highly effective branding, marketing, sales and demand generation campaigns including large global conferences, regional sales enablement events, webinars and targeted account marketing. We also manage the website, paid and organic search, social media, Contrast blogs, collateral, promotions, public relations and advertising.
Contrast Security’s Event Marketing Coordinator will have strong communication and project management skills to support all our marketing activities. As the Event Marketing Coordinator, you will assist with the management and execution of various Field and Channel events. This position is ideal for a self-starter interested in working at a high-tech startup, who recognizes the opportunity for exposure to a dynamic and productive marketing team. 
We're looking for an experienced, creative, results-oriented events coordinator to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Sr Field Marketing Manager, this key role will support our regional marketing program and event strategy and execution - creating, delivering, and optimizing field programs and events that align to our integrated campaigns and generate new business - while delivering awesome digital and in-person experiences for our user and prospect audiences across all customer segments.

Responsibilities

  • Research relevant event and conference details (competitor's presence, attendee demographics, market focus, venue pricing, etc.) 
  • Research and execute on swag strategy (new items for tradeshows/conferences, customer swag, direct mail, swag for field teams)
  • Support company hosted events like Sales Kick-Off and Virtual Team Bonding activities
  • Provide support for in-person and virtual events from concept to completion: assist the Field Marketing manager with maintaining guest lists, sending calendar invites, making reminder phone calls, creating name tags and managing check-in lists
  • Partner closely with internal and external Contrast attendees - assist with booking hotels, confirm registrations through event portals, schedule event prep meetings and add all events to the Marketing calendar
  • Assist in the Lead Import process after events to ensure they are imported correctly and Sales is enabled to follow up with them appropriately
  • Schedule speakers for webinars, follow up, confirm, send out scripts and information
  • Work with Procurement and Legal teams to onboard vendors and track current requests
  • Other general marketing tasks could include writing, social media posting and updating, website updates, design for hard copy invitations, booth signs etc.
  • Set up and monitor trade show services orders (electrical, lead retrieval devices, internet, drayage, furniture, carpet, AV, booth graphics)
  • Revise the current inventory system of marketing giveaways
  • Help pick new items, order and track production cycles
  • Revise current inventory system of company literature, tradeshow properties and supplies
  • Other general marketing coordinating tasks could include working cross-functionally to gather content for social media posting, invitations, follow up emails and collateral

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with marketing or business focus preferred
  • 1-3+ years of relevant experience
  • A self-starter with demonstrable passion and initiative, and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creativity and a willingness to bring new ideas
  • Eager to perform as a key member of a world-class team
  • Attention to detail and extremely sharp organization skills
  • Organized, focused and proactive
  • A good planner – able to meet deadlines
  • Experience organizing hospitality events for clients, prospects and employees
  • Experience working in both digital and in-person event environments
  • Analytical aptitude
  • Outstanding team player and cross-group alignment capability
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce.com and HubSpot
  • Team player who understands working at a start-up means wearing many hats
  • Brilliant multitasker who can produce high-quality work under tight deadlines
