The Role:As the Fraud and Risk Manager, you will work on Gametime’s business strategy focused on improving conversion rates, decreasing fraud, and chargebacks.  You will drive long-term, strategic initiatives and projects in support of minimizing fraud losses while providing a positive user experience.

What you'll do / own:

  • Develop strategies to increase transaction approvals, while maintaining reasonable risk ratios
  • Reduce chargeback claims, but not at the expense of transaction approval
  • Manage the business relationship with Riskified, our fraud platform
  • Work directly with engineering on requirements and recommendations
  • Contribute to the development process and policy documentation for front line agents
  • Travel could be required

A little more about you:

  • 5+ years experience in fraud within e-commerce, payments, finance, or technology
  • Extensive knowledge in card-not-present fraud schemes, its risk prevention methods, and detection tools for digital, virtual and physical goods
  • Experience mitigating online fraud, such as account takeover, phishing, online card testing, etc
  • Experience with Riskified, or similar AI-based fraud prevention platforms
  • Experience with 3D Secure, or similar strategies a huge plus
  • The ability to prioritize and guide individuals through competing demands and complex problems
  • An operationally-focused mindset, with an ability to see a project through to success using planning, metrics, and effective communication
  • Strong skills in SQL, CRM, and data analysis tools
  • Creative and team-focused approach and is an effective problem solver
  • Experience using data to propose creative solutions to both tactical and strategic problems  
  • BA/BS, or equivalent experience required
