About the role:
As part of the expansion of the business we are seeking an Index Administration & Compliance Associate who will be responsible for ensuring that the firm’s products are administered  to the highest standards, fully compliant with UK BMR and audited as such. This will involve working closely with the firm’s management, product and technology development functions. This role would allow the successful candidate to work in the heart of an integral part of the wider cryptocurrency ecosystem and drive data standards for the integration of cryptocurrency into the investment portfolios of institutions, corporations and individual
This role will be an integral part of the scale up of a fast growing business and be key to CF Benchmarks realising its vision of being the market leader for cryptocurrency indices and benchmarks

What you'll do:

  • Manage the firm’s Index Administration activities with a focus on ensuring policies are adhered to, the firms controls are operating smoothly and documentation is complete
  • Develop new processes to complement the first high growth trajectory
  • Ensure that the new product roll outs are supported by strong administration i
  • Maintain and develop the firm's Index Administration programme o including metric analysis and report production
  • Conduct analysis of the firms benchmarks that can be shared with external parties evidencing their effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the firm’s technology development team to specify the build of new technology tools and infrastructure to facilitate index administration
  • Collaborate with the firm's product development functions to ensure accurate documentation of methodologies and processes required to support new products
  • Design and implement audit processes to ensure adherence to policies 

Who you are:

  • 2-5 years working experience in index administration and compliance, implementing policies and processes driven by BMR
  • Strong numeracy skills and applied knowledge of statistics
  • Strong written and graphical communication including an ability to articulate data concepts 
  • Ability to work with and analyse large data sets
  • Understanding and practical experience in benchmarking
  • Understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology a plus
  • Experience gained within an index provider, asset management firm or bank
  • Good working knowledge of data software - EXCEL, SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebooks
