Medallia is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer that wants to join a small and dynamic  team. The position is for an experienced Salesforce developer who is willing to create new and complicated features in Salesforce with a fresh and creative point of view. It's for someone who can appreciate elegant code and enjoy the beauty of well-written features.

The role:

  • We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our team remotely in the United States.
  • This developer will help us build, deploy, manage and maintain Medallia’s managed packages for Salesforce.
  • You will solve challenging technical problems, own your services end-to-end and help take our SaaS platform to the next level.
  • Have experience with Force.com developer toolkit - Apex, VisualForce, Force.com IDE, Lightning Web Components, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs.
  • Familiarity with Services Oriented Design Principles (SOA) and Web Services.
  • Your work will connect the world's leading businesses to their customers by helping them understand the experience their customers are facing and how to improve their products.
  • You will be responsible for the code quality, health and the stability of production systems.
  • You will collaborate with Product and Design/UX teams to build innovative new features and products for the Customer Experience space.
  • You will be a mentor and guide to other junior and mid level developers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years software development experience on product engineering teams.
  • Strong experience with code quality best practices and implementing testing architectures and modularization on large codebases.
  • Strong lead/mentor skills with a “can do” attitude.
  • 5+ years experience in various Salesforce components and manage/maintain packages.
  • Experience working with source control and continuous integration, designing APIs and integrationImplement and maintain Salesforce customizations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rules.
  • Passionate about technology, enjoys solving complex problems and learning new technologies.
  • Able to lead projects independently from start to finish.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Java, Web Services and SQLExperience with AWS or other IaaS.
  • Experience in container technologies, such as Docker.
  • Ideally with container orchestration such as Kubernetes or Mesos.
