Meet the Role:Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Platforms, the Senior Business Systems Manager will collaborate with business stakeholders, Business Relationship Managers and delivery teams to support strategic business objectives through design, delivery, and continuous improvement of existing and future enterprise application technologies.   Key Responsibilities: ·       Act as a subject matter expert on business systems capabilities, process, and technology solutions for your respective area to guide business and design decisions ·       Own assigned area platform technology roadmap for future changes and enhancements required to meet organizational strategic initiatives ·       Be the lead in your assigned area, from platform technology suite roadmap to individual application updates, to inform and influence our initiative roadmaps ·       Maintain current knowledge and expertise in the platform technology landscape, functionality and product roadmaps for your respective area ·       Ensure solutions are aligned with targeted outcomes, best practices, and design, security, and quality guidelines ·       Partner with Business Relationship Managers for project ideation and development for your respective area ·       Conduct user and secondary research to understand the context of problems and interpret solution needs ·       Analyze complex business problems, determine feasibility and best fit, facilitate solution ideation and selection, and develop solution design summaries to guide requirement writing and development for new application implementations, change management, upgrades, migrations, integrations, etc. ·       Collaborate with Application Analysts to ensure business needs and requirements are clearly identified, addressed, and consistent with solution designs ·       Create and maintain business and application architecture documentation as needed ·       Validate ROI to ensure solutions result in productivity and performance improvements ·       Mentor junior team members in career, technology and communication development  Experience & Skills: ·       Degree in Business, Information Technology or relevant experience ·       Software as a Service (SaaS) systems background knowledgebase is required ·       Experience designing and implementing scalable process and managing enterprise platform solutions ·       Previous experience working in an Agile environment preferred ·       Experience leading design sessions, integrating feedback and iterative design  ·       Experience building relationships, negotiating and communicating effectively with business partners and leaders, including solid presentation, verbal and written skills ·       Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills ·       Self-starter with the ability to work both independently with little direction and as an integral part of a team ·       Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing requirements, deadlines and priorities  Successful Candidates: ·       Have applicable Platform (i.e. Salesforce.com) experience and/or certification ·       Understand the applicable business lifecycle to (Product, Sales, Finance) be positioned to make recommendations for efficiencies in process and technology ·       Can demonstrate that your career progression has provided you a breadth and depth of experience in a wide range of business process and supporting technologiesIt is the policy of PointClickCare to ensure equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other basis protected by law.
