The RoleWe are seeking a Sponsorship Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. In this position you will play an essential role in planning, producing, and executing sponsorship relationships and experiences to drive Medallia’s growth. In this high visibility role, you will execute sponsorship initiatives from conception to completion, creating unforgettable experiences. You will partner closely with sales to understand key objectives and design initiatives to achieve demand generation goals. You will manage sponsorship partnerships, create internal and external communications, lead sponsorship enablement and activation, and report on key metrics to drive success. 


  • Understand the objectives for Medallia’s sponsored corporate partnerships to ensuring all activity aligns and helps to drive positive performance
  • Accountable for compilation and writing of internal and external marketing and creative briefs, including stakeholder alignment, objective setting and defining ROI metrics
  • Identifying and developing sponsor marketing / promotional opportunities through research, creative thinking and industry-standard campaigns
  • Continuously strengthen day-to-day relationships through exceptional service, and impeccable delivery
  • Identify new and coordinate upcoming marketing campaign plans against the co-marketing plans with partners and sponsors, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders are aligned within budget
  • Understand and develop the measurements of success e.g. ensure all sponsorships are maximized to their full potential, achieving commercial and brand KPI’s
  • Work with internal communications and internal stakeholders to ensure Medallians and our network are excited about sponsorship opportunities and understand the importance of sponsorship in our overall brand strategy
  • Partner with sales leaders to leverage sponsorship opportunities in deals
  • Support in reporting back to the business on monthly basis against defined KPI’s

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years marketing experience including experience with sponsorship and live events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Confident, tenacious relationship builder and problem solver taking responsibility for extensive sponsor projects
  • You will need to demonstrate brand passion, business acumen, commercial awareness, with the ability to build excellent stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Start-up attitude, insight driven, proactive and tenacity to always look for better ways and make decisions with strategic fit.
