WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
This project includes review of a large amount of customer facing contracts. Contractor’s main responsibilities include review of Tealium’s legacy Master Services Agreement (MSA) consisting of service orders, terms of service, acceptable use policy, service level agreement, data security statement and data procession addendum. Contractor will analyze and compare these legacy MSAs versus the current version of the MSA and identify and document key provisions, clauses and addenda. The position reports to CLO, will be managed day-to-day by Sr. Manager – Contracts & Legal, and will work closely with other members of the legal department, and also with other departments’ team members in Revenue Execution, Sales Operations, Customer Success Managers, finance and Sales.

MUST HAVES FOR THE ROLE

  • Requires a four-year college degree and a J.D. degree from an accredited law school. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in business, commercial law or contract review/management is desired and preferably have experience in software, technology, SaaS industry contracts.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels and departments.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Excellent Communicator. The legal team communicates constantly – by voice, by email, by memo, by written agreements, and in video zoom meetings. Must have very good oral and written skills and be able to present their points crisply and professionally in meetings to disparate audiences. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite application, particularly WORD and Excel.Familiarity with Google Drive, Google Docs and customer resource management systems such as SalesForce and LinkSquares (a SaaS based contract repository solution).
