What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performs general office duties such as creation of documents or spreadsheets, fax, copy, and reports. This material is usually of a technical nature because of the scientific terminology used.
  • Works in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) database in performing duties such as data inputting of all demographic information, ensuring accuracy of patient information on laboratory reports.
  • Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the data from the laboratory submission paperwork submitted with laboratory specimens to ensure patient safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Full time (40 hours per week)
  • Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday, 7am- 9pm CST (5am-7pm PST) with possibility of expanding to weekend hours

What You'll Need:

  • Basic computer skills and excellent typing skills, working with multiple applications
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Proficient computer data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate across a remote team
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferred: Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Preferred: Experience with remote workPreferred: Experience with startups
