Our company has been growing at an extremely rapid pace. We are experiencing the majority of our growth in our Engineering and Product teams, and we are looking for a highly motivated talent specialist with a strong background in recruiting highly qualified engineers, product managers, and other technical talent. This person will serve as the lead in all technical roles open at BookNook.  The Talent Acquisition Partner reports to the Senior Manager, HR & Talent and will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Managers, People Operations Manager, and Talent Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the HR & Talent Team, as well as the Engineering and Product Teams to manage the pipeline for each technical role
  • Build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage expectations
  • Ability to manage and navigate a high requisition workload
  • Build and maintain a network of candidates; conducting in-depth interviews and demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
  • Must be able to perform active and passive recruitment and build a healthy pipeline of candidates
  • Manages and maintains an excellent candidate experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You are a good fit for this role if you have

  • 3 - 5 years experience as a technical recruiter, ideally at a high growth tech company or startup
  • 3+ years experience specifically recruiting engineers and technology leaders
  • 1+ years in a startup environment preferred
  • Experience communicating with hiring managers at all levels of an organization
  • Experience coaching hiring managers and helping to develop strategic recruiting plans
  • Expert communicator with impeccable follow through
