Curology is seeking a Product Designer to build a first-of-its-kind skincare experience. We believe a personalized, data-driven experience centered around users' unique needs and goals is the future of skincare, and we're determined to get there.
In joining Curology, you will be responsible for delivering world-class user experiences. Your team will work at the intersection of digital and physical products, a complex customer journey, and the impact on people's lives. Within Curology's larger technology organization, you will promote customer advocacy, partner with our cross-functional peers, build effective working relationships, deliver results, and foster a culture where people are challenged to do their best work.

What you'll get to do

  • Shape and own the product strategy in collaboration with UX Researchers, Copywriters, Product Managers, and Engineers on our Patient Experience or Medical & Pharmacy Ops teams.
  • Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and launch new product features. You'll set the vision for the user experience and create the space for others to collaborate.
  • Facilitate and participate in cross-functional workshops and brainstorming sessions to shape product strategy and address business-critical challenges
  • Design interactive prototypes that demonstrate the strategic vision of your team and help raise the bar of design excellence, while inspiring others to follow
  • Learn from our customers. We're focused on listening to patients, and letting their needs guide us to the best solutions.
  • Be a subject matter expert on this area of the business and its stakeholders
  • Offer guidance, sometimes in the form of coaching, to other designers along the way

What you need to be successful

  • 5+ years of product design experience — bonus points if from a high-growth startup and D2C brand
  • A high level of emotional intelligence, always leading by example with empathy and humility while proactively uncovering potential biases
  • Experience expanding and evolving well documented, purpose-driven, human-centric design systems
  • An in-depth understanding of human-centered design principles and methods, and a genuine curiosity that inspires discovery and innovation across the team
  • An outstanding portfolio, showcasing your strong foundation in ideation, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, designing for accessibility, and producing high-impact business results
  • An ability to lead conversations with business stakeholders, personal accountability, and strong sense of ownership for your work
  • A humble attitude and the ability to foster relationships based on trust and mutual respect
