The RoleMedallia is hiring for a Senior FP&A Manager for our Finance team. This individual will drive value across a broad spectrum of the Company with a particular focus on leading the Company wide planning process, driving our FP&A system adoption across the organization, and supporting a wide range of strategic analysis and decisioning.  The position requires strong business partnering skills, financial reporting, planning and modeling skills, and exceptional business acumen. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to understand the big picture of the Company’s financial model, while being very detail oriented in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment as Medallia continues to scale and grow as the industry leader in Experience Management.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively collaborate, influence, and align the company’s planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy.
  • Work cross functionally and support high energy and fast paced business partners. 
  • Oversee forecasting and planning reporting and analytics, and decision support by demonstrating analytical prowess, strategic thinking and a command of the details.
  • Partner with multiple business groups across the company to drive process and systematic improvements across the organization.
  • Scenario analysis for company level financials.
  • Support finance team in “as-required’ quarterly close procedures / BOD presentations/ other high priority projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business or related field OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Finance experience in high growth environments.
  • B2B/ Enterprise/ SaaS experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and build complex models (in Excel and other planning applications)
