Responsibilities:

  • Build, hire and manage an AE team.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders like customer success, product and onboarding teams, in order to represent our customers and drive net new revenue.
  • Be involved in strategic deals and provide sales coaching and expertise during the sales process.
  • Provide technical understanding of our product with the ability to demonstrate all parts of the product and assist customers with a deep understanding of the value of our product and features.
  • Partner and be a subject matter expert in Spend Management both internally and towards our customers.
  • Some travel might be required (no more than 5% of your time).
  • Help Airbase become the leading Spend Management platform.
  • Reports to the VP Sales & Customer Success.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of full cycle SaaS sales experience.
  • 3+ years of SaaS sales management experience.
  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with ability to establish credibility with executives internally and externally.
  • Experience negotiating and navigating contracts and legal discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams across cultures and geographies.
  • Experience in SaaS industry with Spend Management, FinTech or adjacent industries (e.g. HR tech).
  • Low ego and builds connections fast with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, native English speak.
  • rA builder with strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to forecast and provide pipeline updates.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced growth company environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with spend management tools or working with finance and accounting teams.
  • Financial Accounting experience.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance at startups.
