Reporting to the US General Manager, the VP of US Operations is a vital member of the US management team and is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of Babylon's value-based, virtual care delivery platform to enable world-class clinical outcomes. This role will help translate strategic vision into operational reality and build the infrastructure to support the region's growth and efficiency.


  • Administrative oversight: directly oversee multiple functional managers and their respective teams that collectively have accountability for all operational aspects of Babylon's virtual care delivery platform in the US. 
  • Partner with clinical leadership to initiate and lead initiatives aimed at maximizing the efficiency of clinical operations, improving patient service, and enhancing quality and safety outcomes.
  • Develop and infuse into US Operations a continuous improvement approach to performance management, including provision of operating protocols and standards, and adoption of standard workflows. 
  • Proactively work to ensure reliability and durability of the 24/7, 50-state Babylon provider network, and oversee the development of a competency-based development and training program for all staff.
  • Oversee all aspects of scheduling, workforce management and virtual practice operations including pre-visit, during visit, and post-visit workflows to ensure a seamless and coordinated patient and staff experience
  • Partner with Global teams to source and integrate comprehensive patient feedback Collaborate with local and central outreach teams to support patient engagement in the Babylon model of care
  • Coordinate with Babylon's other US and Global stakeholders to support new account launches 
  • Coordinate with Operations leaders in Babylon's other regions (UK, Rwanda, and SE Asia) to cross-pollinate opportunities to align and enhance operational efficiency and efficacy  
  • Other tasks and projects assigned by the General Manager, US Clinical Operations


  • 10+ years of experience developing and implementing operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.5
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to influence, drive decisions and move projects forward
  • Ability to design processes and build infrastructure to scale operations in organizations experiencing rapid growth
  • Experience managing department budgets and P&L
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. 
  • Experience with digit first primary care services and/or telemedicine preferred.
