Join a team of technical writers committed to creating best-in-class enterprise documentation. You'll work closely with software engineers, product managers, and UX designers to produce content that helps OpsRamp customers manage their IT infrastructure, and you'll have an advantage if you have SaaS documentation experience.   • Research and develop tutorials, cookbooks, and best practices based on real-world use cases

  • As background housekeeping, update legacy documentation to meet current quality standards

  • Contribute to improving theme templates

  • Ensure that content conforms to our documented style guidelines

  • Verify content accuracy, completeness, and usability

  • Proactively work to improve the quality of existing content

  • Participate in peer reviews


  • 6+ years of experience as a technical writer

  • Experience with the doc-as-code documentation paradigm

  • Working knowledge of the mechanics and concepts around git and static site generators

  • Experience with SaaS documentation, especially in the IT operations domain

  • A demonstrated history of producing usable content and knowledge of best documentation practices that enhance the usability

  • Command-line proficiency and the ability to install and configure applications

  • Always looking for ways to improve the documentation process and commitment to following through on initiatives

  • Experience working remotely with the ability to work independently and within a team, as needed

  • It’s desirable that you have some prior experience as a software developer, which has provided you with the essential skills you’ll need to succeed in this position
