Minimum Qualifications• Passionate about technology, people and shaping Hopper’s ability to provide effortless customer experiences • 4+ years of proven success in a product or technical, preferably in startup and/or high-growth environments• Technical depth to effectively lead conversations with software engineers • Relevant customer service domain expertise that will allow you to build highly available, large-scale customer and employee impacting solutions• Strong communication skills to navigate a fast-growing organization across multiple time zones and geographies• Material experience tracking, querying and leveraging customer data to effect product outcomes• Experience acting as product owner in a scrum team, aligning to deliver with speed, quality, and ownership

Preferred Qualifications• Experience in providing technical solutions that balance build vs. buy options for the best customer and employee outcomes • Experience with travel technology in a technical, operational, product, or strategic role • Understanding of end-to-end online travel agency (OTA) workflows from shopping through servicing

Product Managers at Hopper are “smart creatives” who obsess over the customer experience and use data to prove best-in-class experiences. As a Product Manager, you will work at the intersection of software development, data science, and customer experience to solve real world problems that create unique value. You will be leading the vision, strategy and execution of the shared CRM and internal agent tools roadmap for Hopper.
This experienced technical product manager will be responsible for prioritizing and delivering products and tooling that support our globally distributed service teams across multiple lines of business. 


  • Manage a product roadmap to deliver a complete and distributable suite of products that reduce time and effort to serve, from inception through implementation and performance. Define requirements, establish KPIs, and drive execution
  • Work with business and service delivery leaders to shape and drive business cases for tooling and partner integrations 
  • Ideate and wireframe new tools and feature that will influence experience for millions of users around the world 
  • Work in close collaboration with engineers, IT operators, product operations and data analysts to dive deep into customer data to understand workflows and contact drivers
  • Identify meaningful qualities for each tool and feature: what’s important, what’s not, how can we limit risk and cost? 
  • Use excellent judgement to make trade-offs when scoping and specifying solutions, ensuring that everything we build adds value to customers and is extensible

As the travel industry continues to rebound, Hopper has seen its valuation more than double since early 2020, reflecting the strength of our mobile-only marketplace and the value customers are deriving from our proprietary suite of fintech offerings. Here are just a few stats that demonstrate our recent growth:
- Hopper’s valuation is now over $3.5B, reflecting the strength of its mobile-only marketplace and value customers are deriving from the company’s proprietary suite of fintech offerings.
- Based on its current run rate, Hopper is pacing towards 330% revenue growth compared to last year, and it has already surpassed its pre-pandemic revenue peak from Q1 2020 by over 100%.
- Hopper has over 60 million downloads, consistently ranks as one of the most downloaded travel apps, and now has a larger air travel market share in North America than it did before the pandemic (source: MIDT). 
- The company is on track to surpass $1.5 billion in travel sales this year, with 40% coming from the hotel and car rental categories. 
- Hopper’s fintech offerings, such as Price Freeze and Rebooking Guarantee, now represent 50% of its revenue. 
- Given the success of its travel fintech, Hopper recently launched a B2B initiative called Hopper Cloud, where any travel provider can unlock a totally unique revenue stream by seamlessly integrating and offering Hopper’s travel fintech. The industry opportunity for Hopper Cloud is enormous as projections estimate that if all travel distribution channels offered travel fintech, it could increase the total consumer spend for the sector by $200 billion annually.
