The Team:
You will be part of the New Segments team that will be looking at new ways to innovate and grow their products daily. The team comprises of a mix of roles and has a lot of talent, energy and enthusiasm to build beautiful products.
The Role:
As a Product Owner on Xero Lite, you will work with pods and take responsibility for the team backlog, prioritisation and delivery. You will have a strong understanding of the requirements of the business and be able to make clear decisions on prioritisation, minimum lovable product and help the team plan and operate accordingly.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Work closely with multi disciplinary teams to understand the demands for features & enhancements
  • Document findings into specifications, user stories, etc. that will be used as the foundation of the development and testing phases
  • Own the delivery of the roadmap, product planning, and requirements for new features and improvements
  • Work closely with development to define milestones and ensure on-time and in-scope delivery
  • Be a champion for the customer by collaborating with the design team to develop user stories, wireframes, and workflows that solve real problems for our customers

In order to be successful in this role, you will have

  • Product Management experience working with a SaaS environment
  • Experience in solving challenging customer problems in a comparable role
  • Hands on experience working in a cross functional team environment following agile processes & principles
  • A relentless customer centric value drive while staying focused on the purpose and objectives
