Our Project Management Organization (PMO) is growing and we are looking for a collaborative, tenacious, experienced Program Manager (PM) to run our new Implementation and Hypercare Program as we roll out enterprise software to a number of client locations. As a successful PM at Levvel, you will take an open, people first approach to leadership. You must be highly motivated in your work and be driven by a strong desire to serve and help others. As a successful PM at Levvel, you have the discipline to weather difficult deadlines and shifts in team morale, as well as track down action items, decisions and impediments until they are resolved. You know how to build trust in your team and know how to transparently raise blockers, risks, and dependencies both inside and outside your team.
As a PM you will work closely with Account Management, Tech Leads, and BAs to help add context to work items and dependencies and/or risks. You will work with Project Managers to communicate escalations, if appropriate, and collaborate on client facing reports and presentations. In addition, you will work with other PMs across teams and client stakeholders. A successful PM at Levvel has a strong sense of awareness of what others are doing, has a genuine interest in enabling people to perform at their best, and constantly works through obstacles to persevere with honesty and integrity.
Within the first 3 months as a PM you will be familiar with your project teams and the client, you will have established and be following a number of program standards, and can speak with confidence to client stakeholders about the overall program status. You will have established plans for the implementation and hypercare of our enterprise software into the first wave of locations, which you will be responsible for. 
Within the first year as a Levvel PM you will have a high performing program team, with strong team morale, that is regularly delivering good quality deliverables for the client, as contracted. The Implementation and Hypercare Program will have increased its velocity to match both Levvel and client expectations. You will have a strong relationship with the client and can identify other areas of their business where Levvel may be able to help. You will be participating in one or more Levvel internal initiatives and sharing any learnings from your client work with other PMs.

  • Assumes leadership of multiple, cross-functional implementation teams to drive delivery of enterprise software
  • Responsible for all phases of the Implementation and Hypercare Program lifecycle, including but not limited to: user communication, user training, installation of software onto production devices, integration of the system into the existing work processes, hypercare after initial implementation, and support for users during and after implementation
  • Works with Implementation Project Managers to determine roles of cross-functional team members based on project requirements, timeframes and budget and to ensure the successful roll out enterprise software in various facilities
  • Supports program-wide communications through the preparation and sign off of executive updates, program/project status reporting, Steering Committee materials, and provide representation at key stakeholder meetings
  • Facilitates inter-program processes and communications, such as risk and issue management, dependency identification and management, escalation paths and approval paths; ensuring all mitigation strategies are defined and executed
  • Works with account team - Account Manager, Managing Director, Delivery Manager -  to help deepen client relationship
  • Drives decision analysis and gives recommendations for Implementation and Hypercare Program level issues
  • Works with sales and marketing team to help build knowledge base of each client’s business, organization, objectives and needs
  • Support Project Manager(s) in the creation of any project-level documentation:  i.e. scope documents, budgets, timelines, checklists, status reports, communication plans etc.
  • Establishes and maintains a well-communicated schedule for all phases of a project at various PMO, Program and Project level meetings
  • Evaluates key deliverables and final product to ensure traceability of requirements, high quality and customer/client acceptance
  • Display sense of urgency, be comfortable taking the initiative, and keep the team focused on results
  • Manage, motivate and lead both Project Managers and their teams; identifying continuous improvement and mentoring opportunities
  • Be forward-looking and remove barriers to enable the team to progress per plan; strategic thinker and planner

Required Skills

  • 6+ years experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar role
  • 3+ years experience in enterprise software implementation
  • Planned, participated in, and/or led user acceptance testing sessions for enterprise software releases
  • Planned, participated in, and/or led enterprise software delivery 
  • Experience using project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Clarity, Salesforce, etc)
  • Flexibility to travel to facilities within the US, minimum 25% or one week a month

Preferred Skills

  • 8+ years experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar role
  • 3+ years experience in consulting clients in a variety of business issues
  • 3+ years IT experience in project, product, or operational roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with both waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience with operating in a scaled Agile environment
  • Experience with Google Workspace (G Suite)
