About The Role:
As a key member of the Marketing department, you will have the opportunity to tell the Sendoso story through customer insights and experiences, national partnerships, product launches, and public policy issues. We are looking for someone who loves storytelling and is passionate about creating opportunities to bring these moments to life and elevate our brand. Sendoso is experiencing extreme growth in an intensely competitive space, and is looking for a communications professional to join the team. Projects You'll Work On:

  • Develop and lead communications programs that create a steady drumbeat of news while shooting for big wins while ensuring programs are measurable, impactful and support overall business goals
  • Be a collaborative team player and help ensure our internal and external messaging is aligned
  • Create our issues playbook and advise internal stakeholders and partner cross-functionally
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support customer acquisition and retention objectives
  • Partner with the Data Science team to create compelling, original data-driven storytelling opportunities
  • Lead the development of various written materials, including communications plans, messaging, statements, bylines, press releases, blog posts, FAQs and more
  • Manage relationships with partners, agencies, key vendors, and freelancers and oversee communications budget and vendor and partner performances
  • Cultivate relationships with select top-tier media, trade media, select industry analysts, and conference organizers

Experience:

  • At least 10 years communications experience in agency environments and/or in-house at a high growth company
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a heavy calendar of announcements, events and seasonal opportunities
  • A nose for news, a passion for storytelling and experience crafting a corporate narrative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A track record of leading successful programs that include media coverage wins, influential speaking engagements, awards, rankings, and more
  • Strong relationships with top tier media
