Pricing and Competitive Intelligence Analysts are responsible for continuously updating our competitive intelligence platform with competitor intel related to product updates, pricing, partnerships and other relevant information. They will also be responsible for disseminating this intel to key stakeholders within Emburse. They will also assist with analyzing win/loss data and developing pricing strategies based on internal costs, competitors pricing and our customers' willingness to pay based on intrinsic product value. They will collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, finance, sales, revenue enablement, partnership, legal and product teams to help develop pricing.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and run our competitive intel platform (Klue). This includes: Managing user access/permissions, creating and updating competitor battlecards, curating weekly intel digests, and managing integrations with other internal sales enablement tools
  • Stay up to date on the competition and emerging market trends
  • Solicit internal knowledge from sales team on competitors to help strengthen battlecards
  • Conduct product performance analysis and disseminate reports and maintain product tracking
  • Assist in educating internal stakeholders by disseminating our competitive positioning reports
  • Conduct market research to encompass competitive positioning and win/loss analysis
  • Understand competitive pricing strategies and assist team with pricing decisions
  • Work with product and finance teams to determine cost structures that impact price models
  • Ability to operationalize pricing strategy and see projects through to completion with careful attention to detail
  • Address ad-hoc pricing and competitive requests
  • Work with Revenue Operations to coordinate system updates for price changes

What We're Looking For:

  • Education:
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred: Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience:
  • Required: 2+ years of related experience preferred in marketing, finance, product management in a SaaS and/or B2B environment.
  • Preferred: Experience within the fintech industry a plus.
  • Certifications:
  • Preferred: Pragmatic Marketing, other certifications in product marketing or pricing
