The Vice President (VP), Customer Success and Strategy Geography portfolio leader, will direct a team of individuals representing 3 distinct functions: (1) industry solutions, (2) value engineering and (3) automation consulting.  This role is critical during both sales and post-sales to ensure we help articulate, identify and ultimately deliver on the value of automation for our most strategic customers.   It begins by helping our clients adopt an automation mindset that is contextual to their specific industry area, and then sizing that opportunity on what automation can deliver from a metrics perspective.  The candidate should have deep understanding and proven success with industry GTM strategies, executing business development models, the concepts around value engineering and an appreciation for and focus on consulting.  This role will be a critical leader for their geography, aligned to the MD/SVP of the region to ensure maximize impact of these functions on the business.   Inclusive of prioritization, capacity planning and personally as a domain expert in 1 (if not more) of the three areas to be a player coach when needed.

This is what you will do at UiPath

  • Manage, direct and create a community across VE, Industry and Consulting.   One of these three teams will likely hard line to this leader and the other two will matrix.  This leader will create a local community for all the resources and work hand-in-hand with the Global leaders to ensure consistency, standards, scale and priority.
  • Drive effectiveness and efficiency across all the 3 domains to ensure they look and feel like an integrated portfolio of resources.
  • Help our customers to leverage UiPath Suite of products to achieve their business strategic objectives.
  • Direct (matrix) Automation Consulting Services from a priority perspective, working very closely with the APJ Consulting leader
  • Work with Customer Executives to develop RPA strategy through visioning sessions
  • Advise and guide Customers through scaling Automation maturity journey
  • Develop relationship with UiPath Sales to sell Automation Consulting Services
  • Work with Product teams to develop offerings and sales / delivery toolkits to enable our customers and drive adoption and consumption of UiPath products at an enterprise level
  • Support training delivery as needed and identify improvement opportunities for training
  • Collaborate with our Global Services teams to understand enablement needs
  • Display customer first mentality
  • Design, deliver, and execute a GEO strategy for industry sales support,  pipeline and mindshare growth.
  • Develop and implement regional partner model that enables the portfolio of business.
  • Collaborate with UiPath sales, product and customer success teams for value-based selling and help build re-useable assets and artifacts that can be used across automation programs from selling and delivery perspective.
  • Lead thought leadership through whitepapers, point of view content, proof of concepts, demos and industry best practices. 

This is what you will bring to UiPath

  • Domain Expert (in Industry, VE or Consulting) – 10-15 years of relevant work experience with exposure to sales, business development, advisory, and/or consulting roles.
  • Experience leading a group of SME’s and supporting industry growth models. 
  • Experience with the following competencies: Automation Strategy, Functional Architecture, and/or System Integration.
  • Excellent business understanding of industry functions to help transform business operations.
  • Great public presence in support of customer facing and digital events.
  • Should be able to engage with CxOs and RPA COE heads to convince on solutions and product offerings, drive strategy/transformation work, and manage implementation programs.
  • Thought leadership/Innovation to conceptualize and drive new solution/product offerings and take them to market.
  • Experience with operating model design preferred
  • Experience with large transformational engagements preferred
  • Proven ability to sell consulting services engagement required
  • Experience working and managing GEO wide teams; both in a direct and matrix relationship
  • Start-up type experience, with the ability to operate in a fluid and dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Results oriented with strategic thinking, creative abilities, sense of urgency and passion
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas
  • Ability to lead cross-functional team discussions and engage with customer / partner leadership
  • Proven experience building strong internal and external relationships, having a seat at the table the MD/GEO SVP for APJ
  • Existing busines relationships and knowledge about the customers, partners and culture within APJ preferred
  • Strong experience with Microsoft product suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project
  • M.B.A. or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to travel as appropriate.
