8x8 is looking for a Senior Manager, International Digital Marketing who lives and breathes CRO. This person will launch, implement and lead experimentation and personalization efforts across the company’s website, focused on improving site conversion and providing a better, more personalized user experience. As an optimization and analytics expert, the MOP’s focus is on Conversion Rate Optimization, but also on improved customer experience, journey mapping, web data analysis, multivariate testing, and personalization experiments.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with experimentation (A/B/n testing), personalization, website analytics, and the tactics needed to improve user experience and drive increased performance.   They must also be able to structure a web analytics practice and work cross-functionally with data scientists to effectively measure and provide insights into web behaviors.  Additionally, they must speak knowledgeably and comfortably about 8x8’s products in front of key stakeholders, end-users, and internal collaborators. 
Let’s look at your day from a high level:

Web strategy and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Develop, manage, and implement a website optimization road map, including idea management, testing, optimization, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Audit and analyze funnel metrics to identify drop-off and address key areas for growth in conversion rates.
  • Work with SEO and SEM Directors to suggest changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Support ABM program team, identifying and executing personalization opportunities.

Website Personalization:

  • Work with Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Design, and Sales to support a Customer Journey experience on the site – from target segments, content, and pain points.
  • Effectively capture and direct the user’s attention to the appropriate Customer Journey as well as the ‘next best action’ that will move users down the funnel.
  • Engage visitors as they progress through their discovery and learning process to encourages site exploration, interaction, and additional visits.

Website Testing & Analytics:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the design of experiments including test structure, sequencing, the definition of primary and secondary success metrics, and experiment duration calculations.
  • Use a data-driven approach to identify areas of improvement based on current visitor behavior, performance metrics, and qualitative and quantitative customer data.
  • Launch, and optimize global A/B and multivariate tests on to drive increased user engagement and conversion rate.
  • Work with in-house analytics team to measure overall website performance KPIs, analyze key health metrics, communicate trends, share insights and make recommendations to the marketing team.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Relevant degree preferred, preferably in statistics, economics, mathematics, Digital/Marketing Analytics, or in a quantitative discipline
  • Extensive experience running web projects, with a demonstrated track record of leading teams that drive engagement and conversion rate optimization, in the B2B space
  • Fluent in A/B testing methodologies and have had success in driving significant growth through testing, behavioral analytics, and website targeting
  • Strong understanding of the most recent trends around consumer and enterprise web usage
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience applying those principles to siteBasic working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and web UX & UI best practices a plus
  • Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency using Optimizely, Adobe Target or a similar testing/personalization platform
  • Proficient in extracting data and identifying trends using web analytics tools (Google Analytics / Quantum Metrics) 
  • Experience with Drift a plus
