What You’ll Get To DoOur workforce has shifted significantly over the past year to a hybrid/virtual work environment and we're looking for someone who can help us engage with our people in new and exciting ways. In a nutshell, you’ll drive the execution on our strategy for cultivating and refining our Culture and Employee Experience. In true Guidewire fashion, we’ll have fun along the way! Reporting to the Global Head of DEI and Culture, this role will work closely with: The People Team, Employee Communications, Employee Resource Groups, and most importantly, our Employees. This inaugural role will be tasked with leading the effort to design, build, and execute key programs surrounding the employee experience.

Employee Experience Responsibilities

  • Lead and design the delivery of a comprehensive, global, 90-day onboarding program, our goal is to provide a seamless onboarding experience across the talent lifecycle
  • Oversees content development for all onboarding materials, in partnership with Employee Communications and Business Leaders
  • Develop and deliver trainings to support inclusive and equitable management practices and professional development of staff and managers.
  • Build hybrid workforce experiences that enhance our culture, build empathy and the connection between employees. 

Culture and Engagement Responsibilities

  • Champion our culture, company mission, vision, purpose and values to internal and external audiences. Propose initiatives, programs or policies to increase employee satisfaction, engagement and well-being.
  • Lead the annual process to obtain employee feedback through the design and execution of the Culture survey, and other venues for employee feedback. Develops and implements the strategy to communicate survey results and drive the survey action planning in partnership with the DEI Working Group
  • Identifies innovative partners to support a continuous listening strategy and executes across the necessary platforms to gain insights (surveys, focus groups, suggestion boxes)
  • Create a cross-functional team of global culture ambassadors who can activate our values across their team.
  • Partners closely with Corporate Communications to engage employees in DEI efforts through meaningful communications that create awareness of internal and external initiatives, events, and progress

Professional Development

  • Develop and deliver trainings to support inclusive and equitable management practices and professional development of staff and managers
  • Work with the Sr. Manager of DEI to create programs that align initiatives (speakers, webinars, events, etc.) and promote engagement, diversity and inclusion.
  • Maintains and continues to develop expert knowledge of DEI by researching effective diversity and inclusion practices, observing industry developments, evaluating emerging trends, and conducting benchmark comparisons

  • What You’ll BringEducation & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, track record driving measurable business outcomes through DEI or HR solutions
  • Experience effectively partnering with HR and business teams to build effective HR or talent programs and strategies

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of program management and/or project management experience, including projects requiring cross-functional team alignment
  • 3+ years of experience within Organizational Culture, Employee Experience, Diversity and Inclusion, or Employee Engagement
  • At least 3 years of facilitation, public speaking, presentation experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and/or projects involving cross-functional/team alignment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and think critically across a range of issues and topic areas.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively around changing deadlines, and flexibility to support other business functions when required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner
  • Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to influence without authority, think proactively, and function independently

  • Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
  • Experience in the software/high tech industry
  • Experience within Organizational Culture, Employee Experience, Diversity and Inclusion, or Employee Engagement
  • Experience working with cross-functional, global teams
  • Experience working in HR, Leadership Development, Communications, Org Dev, or similar field
