The Role We’re looking for a Partnerships Development Associate to work closely with the Head of Partnerships to enhance Fellow enrollment, retention, and placement. In this role you will work directly with Fellows to understand their job search goals, drive and build relationships with employer partners, and help to establish and grow partnerships with various 3rd parties. We’re looking for someone who is ready to take on any challenge headfirst and be a flexible member of a new founding team. This role is a perfect fit for a high energy individual who has outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills, a passion for our mission, and the ability to wear multiple hats.

What You'll Do...

  • Represent fellows to potential employers, whether through cold outreach on behalf of the fellow or existing partnerships
  • Clearly communicate the value of Pathrise to potential employer partners (B2B) and Fellows (B2C) through written and verbal communication
  • Prospect, build a sales funnel, and then reach out to employer leads
  • Work with head of partnerships on partnerships with schools, bootcamps and other educational organizations, including contract development, internal logistics and administrative duties
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the admissions team, growth marketing team, program management team, career mentors, C-suite, and external partners to optimize Fellow experience and placement through the partnerships.

Your Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working in a rapidly scaling or fast paced environment
  • Experience in a client-facing role preferred
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive nature
  • Understand how to prioritize, reprioritize and manage tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully, and on your feet with diverse technical and non-technical groups
  • Have a genuine scrappy, do it yourself kind of mentality
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Technical Skills: G Suite, Basic to Intermediate Excel and Powerpoint, Salesforce

Nice to Have

  • Recruiting experience 
  • SaaS sales or account management experience 
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with business development strategies 
  • Experience with lead generation and email software 
  • Some product/project management experience
