Wonolo is looking for a Senior Manager of Demand Strategy and Operations who wants to dive in headfirst and help build something from an early stage. In this role, you will scale a team responsible for developing, refining, and iterating our Go-To-Market strategy. Your team will be responsible for driving growth for our business partners (Requestors) through efficient operations, data-driven decisions making, and scalable programs. This function focuses on the whole customer lifecycle from acquisition through onboarding to retention & expansion. In this role, you will be influential in building our internal operations framework and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Key Account Management, Finance, Legal, and Product.
Reporting to our Senior Director of Revenue Strategy and Operations, you will join our Revenue Strategy & Operations team that is a cross-functional team of program managers, system experts, & data analysts partnering with every team across Wonolo in some form. We pride ourselves on impacting key business KPIs, effective collaboration, and the development of innovative solutions. What you'll do:

  • Lead revenue growth initiatives by defining business requirements, developing timelines, dependency mapping, resourcing, and removing obstacles to project completion
  • Design and implement methodologies and processes to maximize sales efficiency and drive exponential new business growth
  • Create, improve and execute against our Enterprise acquisition, support, and expansion strategy through effective cross-functional collaboration with customer-facing teams
  • Evaluate and manage customer-facing compensation plans and incentives to motivate the team and align with company objectives
  • Partner with finance, data, and demand functional leaders to effectively forecast and plan our demand team budgets and goals
  • Develop and increase the efficiency of our customer onboarding engine through scaled processes, effective customer prioritization, and integrated system solutions
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to drive adoption of new business processes and systems
  • Be an essential thought partner to senior leadership and functional leads 

Who you are:

  • 6-10 years of operations, strategy, and/or leadership experience
  • People leadership experience is required with a proven ability to scale teams and motivate direct reports
  • Action-oriented. Experience building and managing cross-functional, high-impact teams with a consistent bias for action
  • An excellent communicator. You are articulate with excellent written and verbal communications skills with a proven ability to communicate across diverse functions, organizations, and teams
  • Data-Driven. You develop and track success metrics across your team and all their initiatives
  • Operationally oriented. You are obsessed with driving process efficiency, improving business metrics and scale.
  • Problem-Solver. You can take a complex issue and break it down into consumable problems and inventive solutions
  • Influential. Proven ability to influence functional leads and your direct reports
  • You demonstrate a commitment to advancing representation and inclusion
