The Stronger Change Office is an affiliate-driven healthcare transformation office housed in PPFA. Stronger focuses on strengthening affiliates in a way that will be truly transformational and facilitating the innovation needed to build the Planned Parenthood of the future. 
Stronger seeks a Stronger Change Office (SCO) Market Analyst to support the execution of Stronger’s market analysis efforts. The Market Analysis Analyst will work under the Market Analysis Transformation Lead (Assoc. Director) and/or Market Analysis Project Manager and will be tasked with carrying out timely and relevant market analyses. 
The primary functions of the Market Analysis Analyst are to:  -Support market analysis needs of the Stronger Change Office, including conducting market & ad hoc data analysis and sharing actionable insights with affiliates;  -Identify and translate market assessments into business cases & action plans;  -Provide thought partnership to affiliate stakeholders on our market analysis tools and servicesThe role will work with diverse staff across the country to accomplish these goals.

Duties and Responsiblities

  • Conduct market analyses and health-related data analyses to inform affiliate strategic decision making and business development. 
  • Conduct location and other geospatial analysis, including demographics, other health care locations, and drive time studies at a local, regional, and national scale.
  • Develop demographic, thematic and suitability maps. 
  • Create reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
  • In partnership with the Market Analysis Team and affiliates, identify and translate market assessments into business cases and action plans that can be implemented in response to environmental and/or policy changes.
  • Assist affiliates and partner with national office staff in providing data and analytic capacity to make and implement data-driven decisions about expanding access to care.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion as core values of Stronger and PPFA and work with others across geographies and socio-political contexts in a culturally competent way.

Requirements and Technical Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience using ArcGIS (or other spatial analysis software) required.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience conducting strategic data analysis and delivering that data in actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. 
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar business intelligence tool(s) and Asana/Smartsheet or other project management tools preferred.
  • Experience with statistical packages ( eg. STATA, SPSS, and/or R) preferred.
  • Understanding of the health care delivery market is a plus.

  • This is a telecommuter position. The Analyst will be expected to spend 10-15%  of time traveling to meet with Stronger affiliates and other key stakeholders. Please note: All travel will be postponed until further notice given the COVID-19 pandemic. 
Starting salary: $65K

Final offers for this job will be based on capabilities and will be made within the parameters of the PPFA compensation program. Total offer package to include generous vacation + sick leave + paid holidays, individual/family provided medical, dental and vision benefits effective day 1, life insurance, short/long term disability, paid family leave and 401k. We also offer voluntary opt in for Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Transportation/Commuter accounts.
