BackgroundThe goal of the Talent Outreach Team is to source and reach out to top potential candidates for our programs.
The team is currently an agile group of 4 working across 20+ programs. We're "in the trenches" and interacting with our fellows everyday. This is a fast-scaling team with high internal growth potential for its members.
Role OverviewIn your role, you’ll work with Talent Associates and Program teams to recruit top fellows for the programs. You'll be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and reaching out to leads.
This is an incredibly exciting role, with lots of opportunities to learn, get your hands dirty, and take on lots of responsibility from day 1.The team is growing extremely fast, so you'll get an inside seat at a company in hyper-scale mode.

Who you are:

  • You're a fast learner who's excited about growing as a business development professional.
  • You're passionate about working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and remote environment.
  • You're a strong communicator, especially when it comes to writing clear and concise emails.
  • You have a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or other relevant fields.

What you will do:

  • Source potential candidates for different On Deck programs.
  • Clearly understand different program offerings and turn them into compelling narratives and email copy.
  • Qualify and reach out to potential candidates from marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Programs and target industries.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Build out market maps and industry landscapes for each of the programs.

  • We are a young company with about 150 people, so if you like more established companies, this role isn’t for you. You'll help create our company's culture.
  • We're an early-stage startup. Projects and priorities are likely to shift.
  • Everyone on the team is extremely mission-driven and works incredibly hard to push towards our lofty ambitions. Most people won’t be cut out for it.
  • You should be comfortable with just a dash of chaos. This is not the kind of job where you show up and we tell you exactly what to do every day.

LocationOur team works remotely, and we are excited about candidates globally.  Please note that our team works on GMT-7 PST-friendly hours. You would start as soon as possible.
