As a Technical Support Specialist on our Site Operations team, you will have a direct impact on people’s lives by continuing to scale the availability and accessibility of COVID-19 testing and vaccines. We're looking for someone who is investigative, empathetic, and has great communication skills. In this role, you will prioritize all urgent customer requests, help build various types of configurations, and develop input strategies, while ensuring highly professional and efficient operations across each of the programs we support. This role is open to remote work outside of the San Francisco Bay Area! 

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Become an expert on all of the features and functions within Color’s software, internal systems, process flows, and tools 
  • Creatively address complex customer problems and own issues to resolution, both written and orally 
  • Create, set up, and QA system configurations for our testing, vaccine, and pre-release programs Work with the Site Operations leadership team to automate and streamline the customer onboarding process 
  • Help revise and document internal workflows and SOP documentation in order to scale individual program processes 
  • Support the greater Operations team with urgent configuration needs and remote troubleshooting

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Open availability to work a 40 hour work week that spans weekends and holidays as our business needs dictate 
  • 1-3 years of professional software and technical backend systems knowledge 
  • Django or similar backend system experience 
  • Problem solving skills - you enjoy being a creative thinker and strategic problem solver
  • The ability to customize the support experience to the needs of individual customers 
  • A strong interest in receiving and implementing feedback and focus on improvement 
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and resilient when facing rapid change 
  • A willingness to learn constantly and work proactively 
  • Prior experience at a fast-growing startup 
  • Excellent time-management skills 
Shift 1: Tuesday-Saturday (varying times between 4A-4P PST) Shift 2: Sunday-Thursday (varying times between 4A-4P PST)
