About The PositionContrast Security is looking for a TA Sourcing Partner to join our expanding recruiting team, focusing on sourcing diverse talent. As a member of our Talent Acquisition Team, you will actively partner with our TA Partners and our Hiring Managers to source qualified candidates for Contrast’s hiring needs and you will consistently touch base with assigned recruiters to coordinate and update on pipelines.
As the Sourcer, you will partner with the Talent Acquisition team to build an ongoing candidate pipeline through strategic research, company targeting, networking and internet searches and other options that will increase candidate flow for identified jobs.
In this role, you will be focusing heavily on creative sourcing, identifying active and passive candidates, generating marketplace knowledge, and developing a robust pipeline of qualified candidates. You will be responsible for sourcing on a global scale and you will help manage and drive the recruitment process. You will conduct research-based sourcing, getting to know the current makeup, background and experience of Contrast teams and the AppSec industry. As a global TA Sourcing Partner, you will perform targeted candidate searches with a large focus on multi-channeling via employee referrals, the Internet, resume mining within our Applicant Tracking System and social networks. 


  • Flexible resource capable of various types of research and candidate generation
  • Primarily focused on external, passive candidate generation
  • Accountable for delivery of high volumes of qualified candidates
  • Build diverse candidate pipelines through online sourcing
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support and execute new campaigns to source and attract diverse talent
  • Map out potential global markets to understand where external talent pools exist and work collaboratively with the TA team to implement diversity sourcing initiatives to tap into those talent pools
  • Use various social media platforms to build awareness of Contrast Security as an inclusive employer
  • Creating detailed sourcing plans that include candidate or outcome delivery commitments/estimates (focused on time and quantity) for each project
  • Accurate capture of sourcing metrics and the analysis and utilization of that data to produce improved ROI for candidate engagement activities
  • Perform ‘on demand’ talent pool research and data analysis designed to meet requested business requirements
  • Cultivate individuals and pools of talent in efforts to build pipelines for future needs
  • Conduct compact, focused candidate screens and subsequent delivery of relevant candidate information for consumption by TA Partners and Hiring Managers
  • Build strong partnerships with Recruiters and Stakeholders within the business where they are engaged
  • Gain a clear understanding of the relevant organizational structure they’re supporting and talent generation implications
  • Participate and contribute within team meetings 
  • Train to assist in recruiting for Junior-level positions as needed


  • Previous Research/Sourcing experience, preferably within a start-up environment
  • Knowledge of internet sourcing tools & techniques; hands-on expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Metric driven perspective with strong analytical skills 
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to sell the value proposition of Contrast Security
  • Ability to build a strong professional working relationship with internal business units
  • Experience sourcing across multiple geographical locations for various departments (Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success)
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and contribute in a fast-paced environment with efficient time management skills
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver 
  • Experience within the AppSec, DevSecOps or Developer space with a background in Computer Science preferred 
  • Experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner doing Recruiting and/or Sourcing with sourcing techniques such as PDF, deep-web search, ATS searching, Boolean search strings 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS’s) and/or Candidate Management Systems (CMS’s)
